Yay, it’s Friday! This post endeth the week of balancing home-schooling, work and family. Our home economics session with my eldest son Will, (12yrs) involved him turning out his favourite pie - mince and cheese! A touch of flare with the filo pastry and tadaaaaa. Once the kids were in bed I enjoyed my slice with a glass of Hanmer Springs Pinot Noir (insert here some flashy words that talk about how a mince and cheese pie match Pinot Noir). Our Sauvignon Blanc was allowed to go through secondary fermentation and maturation within a ceramic egg. It’s softer smoother mouthfeel and mellowed acids compliment this mild savory sweet yellow curry. You can still order our wine online!
